Optic Engineering & Surveying, PLLC is a highly motivated Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm with a desire to take on new challenges and positively impact projects through attention to detail, exceptional communication, and technically sound designs. We are achievement-oriented professionals possessing expertise in land development and land surveying who are committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional results.

OuR LEADERSHIP

Optic Engineering & Surveying, PLLC was founded by Collin Ray, PE and Ethan Smith, PLS in 2023. Collin and Ethan graduated college from Western Kentucky University in the spring of 2017 with Bachelor's Degrees in Civil Engineering and certificates in Land Surveying. 

Combined, Collin and Ethan have 12 years of experience in the civil engineering and land surveying industry. Before starting Optic Engineering & Surveying PLLC, Collin and Ethan were Project Engineers at one of the best civil engineering and land surveying companies in central Kentucky.

OUR CORE SERVICES

Optic Engineering & Surveying PLLC will undertake both small and large construction projects for government entities, investment groups, land developers, and individuals, which is why we do not intend to place limitations on the scope of the projects we handle. We know that if we are good at what we do, it will make it easier for our brand to grow beyond Central Kentucky to other parts of the Bluegrass state.
